Making the Grade: Arizona earns seven cat-claw stickers in rout over Colorado

The Wildcats have 60 cat-claw helmet stickers through 10 games:
4 vs. Toledo
9 vs. Oklahoma State
8 vs. South Carolina State
1 vs. Oregon
4 vs. Oregon State
5 vs. Stanford
9 vs. Washington
10 vs. Southern Cal
3 vs. UCLA
7 vs. Colorado

Memorial uniform number stickers have been added for two former Arizona standouts who passed away in October — No. 71 Chuck Osborne (team-high 11 sacks in 1994) and No. 59 Ransom Terrell (All-WAC linebacker who played from 1971-73).

a-The Wildcats had a season-high 17 plays with that gained at least 12 yards.
b-Arizona was 3 of 6 in third-down conversions and was successful on its only fourth-down try to finish at 57.1 percent.
c-Colorado’s drive in the fourth quarter stalled at the UA 9 with 2:54 remaining in the game.
d-Colorado’s Ray Polk was tackled by Arizona’s Patrick Onwuasor at the Buffalo 19 on a kickoff return in the second quarter.

Arizona’s seven stickers earned against Colorado gives the Wildcats 60 for the season. Above standard games: Colorado, USC, Washington, Oklahoma State and South Carolina State. Average: Stanford. Below standard: Toledo, Oregon, Oregon State and UCLA.

How did Arizona fare in its 56-31 win over Colorado on Saturday?

The Wildcats will earn cat claws for our Arizona helmet if they achieve these following marks in games this season. This grading system is stringent. The Wildcats must achieve their goal. If it states the UA must achieve “more than” a certain mark, they must pass that mark. This helmet will be updated weekly as the Wildcats attempt to fill the helmet with the cat claws:
