The Arizona Wildcats can cut down the nets as the outright Pac-12 regular-season champions with a win over Stanford on Sunday night at McKale Center.

Oregon’s 87-83 double-overtime victory at UCLA on Thursday night against a depleted Bruins team without suspended standouts Jordan Adams and Kyle Anderson assured the Wildcats at last a share of the regular-season conference title.

Arizona is 26-2 overall and 13-2 in the Pac-12 with three games remaining. For a share of the title, UCLA (21-7 and 10-5) must hope for the Wildcats to lose their last three games while winning out against Oregon State at home and Washington State and Washington on the road.

The Wildcats conclude their regular season at Oregon State and Oregon next week after playing the Cardinal.

Because of its head-to-head advantage over UCLA, Arizona is assured the No. 1 seed in the Pac-12 tournament, which runs March 12-15 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The Bruins are a game ahead of a four-team logjam for third place. Colorado, ASU, Stanford and Cal are each 9-6. The top four teams get a bye in the Pac-12 tournament, meaning they can rest on the first day.

Those five teams will challenge for the three spots following Arizona, although Oregon, Utah, Washington and Oregon State — all at 7-8 — have a mathematical chance to creep into the top four if they finish 10-8 and the others falter.
