Chicago Bears rookie running back Ka’Deem Carey sat down with SB Nation recently and fielded questions. Among the highlights:

— Wide receiver Brandon Marshall and running back Matt Forte, whom Carey will back up, have taken him under their wings.

— Carey mentions that Arizona “didn’t use me as well as they should in the passing game”. He said he was “underused” in the passing game but was “used plenty” in the running game. He said he’s excited about Chicago’s offense that utilizes the running back as a receiver.

— Veteran quarterback Jay Cutler has taken time to make sure Carey knows the plays, especially the blocking schemes to protect him.

— When asked what superhero power he wants to possess, Carey quips: “Since everybody wants to make a big deal of my 4.7, 40, I might want to say, I would guess, “Speedy”? … “Just to make other people happy, speed, but to make me happy, probably fly.”

— He gives himself a Madden rookie rating of “88 or 89”.
