When asked by the NBC affiliate in Oakland about how he responded to coming off the bench this year, Andre Iguodala spoke about his trust in Steve Kerr.
“We kind of have the same background so it wasn’t too bad,” Iguodala said of their Wildcat past with Lute Olson. “The guy has five rings, so it’s hard to argue with a guy like that with that much success in his career and not with one team but two teams.
“I think he went to a Final Four too, so he’s had success in his basketball career. You want to be around guys like that. They’re used to being successful in what they’re doing so it was not hard to buy in.”
