Top 5 Arizona Wildcats NBA Draft facts

[tps_header]Arizona’s first-round talent at its highest clip[/tps_header]

[tps_title]No. 2[/tps_title]

Arizona has produced a total of 67 NBA draft selections, including 19 first-round picks, since Mo Udall and Linc Richmond were taken in 1948.

In that time, the Wildcats’ greatest turnout of first-round talent in a five-year span was four players, which has happened six times.

The last time was all the way back from 1998 to 2002 when Mike Bibby, Mike Dickerson, Jason Terry and Richard Jefferson were taken in the first round.

If Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Stanley Johnson are taken in the first round tomorrow — as is expected — the Wildcats will establish the highest rate of first-rounders in a five-year span. The other three are Derrick Williams (2011), Solomon Hill (2013) and Aaron Gordon (2014).
