In a loaded position already for the upcoming 2015-16 season, Arizona could have as many as four shooting guards in 2016-17.
That is the case if incoming five-star recruit Allonzo Trier does not become a one-and-done talent and stays until at least his sophomore season.
If Trier develops into an NBA-worthy talent as a freshman, Arizona will return three off-guards in 2016-17: Elliott Pitts and Kadeem Allen (two seniors that season) and incoming freshman Justin Simon. No weaknesses there with the experience and talent factor.
