The boxscore of the game won by Arizona at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis shows how vital Arizona’s free throw shooting was against Kentucky.

Arizona was 22 of 58 from the field while making 34 of 41 from the free throw line. Kentucky, meanwhile, attempted only 17 free throws, making nine. That 25-point disparity at the stripe and Arizona’s 45-40 rebounding edge proved to be the difference.

Miles Simon attempted as many free throws as Kentucky did as a team, but he made more. He was 14 of 17 from the line, including a pivotal 4-of-4 in overtime.
