The knock on McConnell when he took over as Arizona’s starting point guard in 2013-14 is that he was a pass-only point guard without much of a shot. As time went on, McConnell developed more of an offensive game. Right now, it’s obvious that McConnell just wants to fill the role Philadelphia is looking for from him in the NBA Summer League.
