Of the 350 athletes listed by prepvolleyball.com, 16 are from Arizona and only Tucson Outside Hitter Mia Sokolowski is from Southern Arizona.
Sokolowski was one of four Arizona athletes named to the 20-member USAV Youth National Team Training Roster in May (Sokolowski, Khalia Lanier, Hailey Harward and Lauren Stivrins of Scottsdale Chaparral).
Lanier was selected to the 12-member U.S. Girls’ Youth National Team. As we first reported, Sokolowski is a Florida commit and is our Preseason Player of the Year.
