Although all games are important, here are a few that are sure to shape the rest of the season. Kickoff at 7 p.m.

DIVISION IV

Section II
Pueblo (1-1)
Thatcher (1-1)
Catalina (0-2)
Douglas (0-2)
Empire (0-2)
Santa Rita (0-2)
Palo Verde (0-3)

Section VI
Flowing Wells (3-0)
Cholla (2-0)
Rio Rico (2-1)
Walden Grove (1-1)
Pusch Ridge (1-1)
Sahuarita (0-3)
Amphitheater (0-2)

Flowing Wells (3-0) at Pueblo (1-1)

Huge game. Huge. This game will help make the order in Division IV much clearer heading into sectional play. Not sure how a loss will hurt either team but a win…

Cholla (2-0) at Palo Verde (0-3)

If the Cholla faithful travel then they might see their Chargers go 3-0 heading into their game against Sahuarita next week.

Rio Rico (2-1) at Empire (0-2)

A must win for Empire and a season builder for Rio Rico.

DIVISION V

Section II
Benson (2-0)
Bisbee (1-1)
Tanque Verde (1-2)
San Manuel (0-1)
Tombstone (0-1)
Willcox (0-3)

Section VIII
Santa Cruz (3-0)

Benson (2-0) at Miami (2-0)

Benson is ranked second in the division by the sports media. Miami will test that ranking.

Santa Cruz (3-0) at Bisbee (1-1)

Another huge game for both programs. Santa Cruz to 4-0 would mean people will have to start noticing. We already have.

DIVISION VI

St. David (3-0)
Valley Union (2-0)
Ajo (2-0)
Duncan (1-1)

Duncan (1-1) at St. David (3-0)

This one could get ugly but St. David needs to take care of business.

Valley Union (2-0) at Ajo (2-0)

A small-town dream game. Who wouldn’t want to be in the stands for that game?
