New Pac-12 Networks analyst Steve Lavin has insight in what it’s like to coach against Tollefsen, having competed against San Francisco twice as the head coach at St. John’s.
Tollefsen finished with 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor in San Francisco’s 81-57 loss in Queens, N.Y., two years ago.
As a freshman the previous year, Tollefsen came off the bench to score 11 points against the Red Storm in an 81-65 win in San Francisco.
