Rincon softball standout Melissa Mange gives verbal to UTEP

Rincon softball standout Melissa Mange verballed to UTEP this morning. Mange was our Southern Arizona Freshman of the Year last year after she batted an incredible .571 with 19 doubles, five triples and 11 home runs. Her 11 home runs were sixth best in the country for freshmen and ninth best in Arizona regardless of class.

The list of former Rangers to play Division I softball includes Marcie Aguilar (Arizona), Charissa Ballesteros (UTEP) and Bettina Aguilar (Ohio State).
