This season two of my colleagues — Steve Rivera of GOAZCATS.com and Anthony Gimino of TucsonNewsNow.com — and I am picking the outcomes of Pac-12 games. Odds listed are of the Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas. …

Gimino’s 4-1 record against the spread last week tightened things up among the scribes’ Pac-12 picks.

Rivera has the best mark of 27-14-2 heading into today’s six-game slate. I am 26-15-2 followed by Gimino at 25-14-2.

We are split in terms of the Arizona-ASU game today. I predict the Wildcats will win and thus cover the 7.5-point spread. Rivera predicts a Sun Devil in but Arizona will cover. Gimino takes ASU to cover.

To get more detail on Gimino’s pick, read his analysis at TucsonNewsNow.com.

“Much will spin on who plays quarterback for Arizona, and that uncertainty increases the degree of difficulty in making a prediction,” Gimino writes about the situation of Jerrard Randall possibly having to replace Anu Solomon (concussion). “Even if the Wildcats have Solomon, though, the Sun Devils have stronger talent across the board. If they don’t get too cute on offense, I like their downhill running game to be the deciding factor.”
