The Salpointe girls got off to quick start with a 2-0 defeat of Marana Mountain View at home on Monday night. Senior forward Reilly Marks crossed the ball to junior forward Rachel Kinnison in the 23rd minute and then freshman midfielder Kalista Kakou found an open net in the 31st.

Pool play is played in two 35-minute halves.
