All-State lineman Brandt Davidson signed with Montana after playing with Scottsdale Community College. Davidson was a member of Salpointe’s state championship team.

“I’m incredibly proud of my son for his determination and focus on the long, arduous journey to a D1 scholarship,” his father Drew Davidson wrote. “He will be starting the next phase of his life at the University of Montana next week.”

Brandt helped lead Scottsdale CC to two bowl appearances including a 42-34 win over No. 11 Central Lakes College – Brainerd, Minnesota in the Valley of the Sun Bowl in December.

“Thanks to the Scottsdale Community College Fighting Artichokes coaches, Doug Madoski and Tommy Ziegler, for all their help and belief in him, giving him the opportunity to excel,” his father added.
