BASEBALL: Ironwood Ridge improves to 3-0 at Cowboy Up Classic

Cowboy Up Baseball Tournament
Feb. 24-27: Kino Sports Complex

Ironwood Ridge improved to 3-0 at the Cowboy Up Baseball Classic held at the Kino Sports Complex after defeating Campo Verde 4-2 and Empire 9-5 on Saturday.

Josh Darang threw seven innings and collected five strikeouts in the win over Campo Verde and Christian Pearcy had 11 strikeouts in the win over Empire.

Cienega, Salpointe and Buena moved to 2-0. Pool play continues on Friday with bracket play starting on Saturday with the championship scheduled for 8 p.m.
