The Josh Jackson suspense is over with the consensus No. 1 Class of 2016 recruit committing to Kansas on Monday night. Now Arizona’s focus turns to five-star forward Terrance Ferguson, who most recruiting analysts believe is leaning toward Sean Miller’s program.

Nick Johnson has advanced to the NBA D-League Western Conference finals as a member of the Austin Spurs. Johnson is averaging 10.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game for Austin.

Former Santa Rita High School standout and Arizona player D.J. Shumpert, the last player Lute Olson recruited to Arizona, is still alive in the NBA D-League playoffs with the Los Angeles D-Fenders. He averages 2.8 points and a respectable 5 rebounds a game inasmuch as he is averaging 15 minutes per game for the D-Fenders, who play a deciding Game 3 of an opening-round playoff series against Reno on Tuesday night. Shumpert transferred to Cal San Bernardino to conclude his career.

Rob Gronkowski is still backing the Wildcats. A marketing boon for Arizona.

In some of these Steve Kerr highlights it seems his shot is so accurate, the ball barely touches the net as it sinks through.
