Gabe Gaxiola signs his LOI with his parents (Family Photo)
Former Tanque Verde hoops standout Gabe Gaxiola signed a Letter of Intent to play for Central Christian College of Kansas (NAIA). Gaxiola averaged over 25 points a game at Tanque Verde.
Also, Sahuarita junior Ian Mejia announced his commitment to play baseball for the University of Arizona yesterday.
Mejia was one of 18 players from the Southwest selected for the USA Baseball 16U National Team Identification Series.
