The National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA)/Speedo Girls High School Academic All-America list was announced this month and former Sabino standout Taylor Nations was the only swimmer from Southern Arizona recognized.
Nations will be swimming for the University of Arizona this fall.
The USA Swimming Scholastic All-America applications are due by Aug. 15. APPLICATION CAN BE FOUND HERE

Andy Morales was recognized by the AIA as the top high school reporter in 2014 and has been a youth, high school and college coach for over 30 years. His own children have won multiple state high school championships and were named to all-state teams.
