Babe Ruth 18U Southwest Regional Tournament
Bakersfield: July 21-25
Kino/Pro Hammer defeated Vallejo, California 5-1 on Monday to capture the Babe Ruth 18U Southwest Region championship. The team defeated Sparks, Nevada 2-0, Bullard, California 4-2 and the host team from Bakersfield 3-2 in 13 innings leading up to the game against Vallejo.
The 18U Babe Ruth World Series will be played in Ephrata, Washington from Aug. 6-13. Kino/Pro Hammer will play Ohio Valley on Sunday, Aug. 7
