— Tucson QB Jorge Flores scored two rushing touchdowns in the first half against host Yuma Cibola and RB D.J. Hinton added another rushing score. Hinton also scored on 60-yard run. He led Tucson with 147 rushing yards and 2 TDs. Kashawn Valencia later ran it in for a score on 3rd and goal from 7.

— Tucson’s Armando Montano had an interception.

— Sabino’s Drew Dixon scored a TD in the Sabercats’ 49-7 win over Empire.

— Salpointe RB Mario Padilla scored on an 18-yard run against CDO. Padilla also had a 79-yard punt return for a TD to put the Lancers up 24-14 in 4Q.

— QB Austin Ahumada scored four touchdowns in the first half for Sahuarita against Catalina.

— Pusch Ridge took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter over Santa Rita on touchdown pass to Matthew McCloud. He later returned a punt for a touchdown.

Edwin Lovett caught two touchdown passes for Pusch Ridge against Santa Rita. Paul Bertalson later returned a fumble recovery for a touchdown for Pusch Ridge. Blake Riley also scored on an interception return. PJ Haynes also scored for Pusch Ridge.

— Nogales QB Ricky Paredes had scoring runs of 60 and 54 yards against Buena. He had three touchdown runs in the first half. Paredes gained 179 rush yards before halftime.

— A 58-yard TD pass from Jovoni Borbon to Dayvon Johnson put Buena on the board against Nogales midway through the first quarter. The two combined on a passing score again in the fourth quarter.

— Nogales’ Leo Yepiz caught 39-yard touchdow pass from Josue Tapia. The Apaches also had 72-yard interception return by Jesus Chavez that set up another TD.

— CDO’s Garrett Woodlock scored two 1-yard runs against Salpointe. His second TD was set up by an impressive reception by Cameron Crandall. The scoring drive originated after an interception by CDO’s Zach Bohnenkamp.

Dashiel Pudwill rushed for a 15-yard touchdown for Catalina Foothills against Walden Grove. He later took a swing pass from QB Rhett Rodriguez and ran 17 yards for the score. Rodriguez took a low snap and scored on a TD run later in the first half.

— RB Blake Rashad scored from 11 yards for Catalina Foothills against Walden Grove.

— Amphi’s Gerardo Esparza scored 2-yard plunge against Pueblo. The Panthers’ Lu Reh made a 34-yard field goal in the third quarter. Carlos Valarezo had a 7-yard scoring run later in the third quarter.

— Pueblo QB Ricardo Medina, who played for the JV team until this week, scored the Warriors’ first touchdown against Amphi. Alex Urtuzuastegu made a 22-yard field goal for Pueblo in the third quarter.

Jose Suarez of Flowing Wells scored a touchdown against Cholla. T.J Flores later scored for the Caballeros on a 20-yard pass from Dylan Allison.

— Cienega’s Skyler Cauvanaugh and Nico Jordan each scored a TD against Mountain View. Dakota Poe also scored on a 70-yard run for the Bobcats. Rodney Rodgers and Terrell Hayward each recorded an INT for Cienega.

— Bobcats PK Aaron Aros made a 27-yard field in the fourth quarter against Mountain View

— Ironwood Ridge’s Royal Miller had an interception return of a touchdown against Sahuaro.
