Marana senior standout Kaylee Moore gave her verbal commitment to play for Central Arizona on Thursday. Moore leads Marana in kills and is second in blocks. She helped lead the Tigers to a playoff appearance after winning only one match last year.

“I’ve had a goal to play college volleyball since forever ago, and it means a lot to me to be able to pursue something I’m so in love with,” Moore said.

“My family has all been standing behind me for everything and they pushed me to reach this goal even when I thought I wasn’t going to be able to do it, they never doubted me at all,” Moore added. “I started receiving a lot of offers in the beginning of last year but all were so far like Maine, Vermont and Hawaii. I was worried about going so far, so young, so I was extremely blessed with this offer because I’m still close to home for my first year and I know I have even bigger opportunities ahead of me here at Central.”
