Roadrunners dominate the Condors on the road

Last night, in the first game of their two-game road trip the Roadrunners defeated the Bakersfield Condors 3-0. Adin Hill once again started in net for the Roadrunners and Nick Ellis was between the pipes for the Condors.

Positives 

  1. Shots on Goal and shots against. The Roadrunners registered a season high 38 shots on goal in last night’s game. This combined with the 17 shots against, indicates that the Roadrunners dominated puck possession all night long.
  2. Adin Hill’s shutout. Star goaltender Adin Hill has been the best player an the Roadrunners this season, so it was great to see him earn his first shutout.
  3. Brendan Perlini keeps scoring. With tonights’ goal, Perlini has 3 goals in his last 2 games and has at least a point in his last three games.

Negatives

  1. None. The Roadrunners showed the hockey world why they are currently leading the Pacific Division. They went out, thoroughly dominated their opponent and played a near-perfect hockey game.
