Social media reactions: Arizona Wildcats rout ASU to take back Territorial Cup

Plenty of reactions from the Arizona Wildcats (with some solemn ones as well from Arizona State) from last night’s 56-35 victory at Arizona Stadium.

Arizona finishes 3-9 overall and 1-8 in the Pac-12 — an unfavorable record but the Wildcats have a bounce in their step in the offseason with the lopsided victory over their rivals.

With the victory, the Wildcats avoid their first winless conference record since 1957 when they were in the Border Conference.

Rich Rodriguez also avoided a 1-4 record against ASU and nemesis Todd Graham. Never in the history of Arizona’s program had a coach went 1-4 or worse in at least five games against the Sun Devils. Rodriguez does not have to worry about that now.

On to the many social media reactions and postings of Arizona’s victory over ASU …
