Due to Laurent Dauphin’s  uncertain status for the Arizona Coyotes game today against the Edmonton Oilers, the Coyotes have recalled Tyler Gaudet. Gaudet has 0 points in one game this year for the Coyotes and has 7 points in 11 games for the Roadrunners.

Dysin Mayo was also sent down to the Rapid City Rush; Tucson’s ECHL Affiliate (double-A). The 20-year old defenseman had 1 assist in 3 games this season for the Roadrunners. Mayo was originally drafted in the fifth round, 133rd overall in 2014 by the Coyotes and was described as “A smooth skater with balance and power who can skate the puck up ice or find a streaking teammate with a quick accurate passing play” by elitehockeyprospects.com in his draft year. The move will give him the ice time he needs to find his game, being scratched almost every night by the Roadrunners won’t do a young player like Mayo any favors.
