Isaiah Lovett, son of former Wildcat Lamont Lovett, offered walk-on spot at Arizona

First Team All-Southern Arizona receiver Isaiah Lovett announced his offer to the University of Arizona on Sunday afternoon. The son of former Wildcat Lamont Lovett, Lovett pulled down 1,252 yards last year with 18 touchdowns.

“Thankful for the opportunity to play football at the University of Arizona like my dad and his brother before me,” Lovett posted on his Twitter feed.

Lovett will be starting out as a preferred walk-on.

Lamont Lovett was a running back at Arizona from 1990-93 as is the color analyst for Arizona Football. His brother, Lamar Lovett was a receiver for the Cats and is an assistant coach at Pusch Ridge.
