Kayla Green, Zach Malis & Trey Stine named to All-WAC Preseason Teams

Kayla Green (NMS)

Former Cienega pitcher Kayla Green was named to the WAC Preseason Softball Team last Wednesday.

Former Ironwood Ridge standout Trey Stine was named to the WAC Preseason Baseball Team on Wednesday afternoon. Stine was chosen as a third baseman from New Mexico State.

In addition, former Desert Christian standout Zach Malis earned preseason honors playing for Grand Canyon.

This list was updated all year in an effort to recognize all former local prep stars who had gone on to achieve either academic and/or athletic awards at the next level. These are not high school awards but college and professional awards. NOT CHAMPIONSHIPS. If you are aware of anything I have missed along the way, please let me know.
