LAS VEGAS — Parker Jackson-Cartwright might be one of the smallest guys on the court but he made one of the biggest plays when he leaped high to grab a defensive rebound with 42 seconds left.
He missed two free throws on the other end but his effort was symbolic of the resiliency Arizona showed in the second half with Oregon continually cutting the lead to four but always having an answer.
“We’ve been the most prepared,” Jackson-Cartwright said. “When you prepare like that, and work so hard, it so sweet to win.”
