First Team All-Southern Arizona selection Lauren Bollinger announced her commitment to play for Idaho State. The Salpointe junior was part of the state championship team.

“All my hard work has paid off, it’s been a dream of mine since I started playing soccer, and I’m one step closer to achieving that dream!” Bollinger said.

“It’s a great school and has exactly what I want to study which is Physical Therapy. The coaching staff is absolutely amazing and we are ready to get back to winning Big Sky championships, and I look forward to helping them do so!”

Bollinger’s father explained her long journey to Idaho State:

“Lauren visited Idaho State for the first time one year ago,” Matt Bollinger said. “She then fought back through injury, surgery, a five-month recovery, got back on the field, worked incredibly hard to get back to playing great, earned multiple scholarship offers and ended up right back where she was one year ago at Idaho State…….this time committing to play soccer for them in college. We are so very proud!”
