U.S. National Team Development Games

July 5-9: UC Davis

Local eighth-grader Michael Masunas is competing in the USA Football National Team Development Games this week taking place on the campus of UC-Irvine. Masunas was named to the 14U US National Team last fall and he competed in the International Bowl held in AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys in January.

Masunas caught all five passes thrown to him on Thursday and collected two touchdowns in the process. Already approaching 6-feet and 200 lbs., Masunas is suited for the tight end position and should be the top high school prospect for the class of 2022.
