Catalina Foothills guard Jared Irwin signed on to play for Pima CC Wednesday night. The 6-foot-4 guard captained the Falcons to a semifinal finish in the 4A state basketball playoffs this past winter.

“It’s dope to see the result after all the years in the making,” Irwin said. “My mom does so much, its cool to be able to lift the burden of tuition money from her.”

The 2017 signing class at Pima includes former Ironwood Ridge standout Cole Gerken and former Catalina Foothills standout Nik Nehls. Former Sabino standout Travis Walker has committed to play for Pima.
