Jarred Adams, who is from Baton Rouge, La., was named MVP in the adult league championship game won by Asarco, which beat Casino Del Sol.

Gary Smith, a Pima College alum, won the slam dunk contest.

The 3-point Shootout was won by Sabino 2012 graduate Cameron Gause.

Truly Nolen, led by Esperero Middle School’s Dylan Hadley, beat defending champion Pima Federal Credit Union 47-44 to win the Kids League title. Hadley has good height for his age — towering over others at about 5’10” — and he can handle the ball. Look for his name in the future. He will play at Catalina Foothills High School in two years (he is going into the eighth grade this year).
