Both teams finished 4-6 last year and both teams need this win to have a real shot at the playoffs. Nogales beat Sunnyside for the first time since 1995.

The Colts are on an 0-21 streak.

SABINO at Casa Grande
This is a fill-in game and was not played last year. The two teams haven’t played each other since 2002. Former UA standout Randy Robbins is the AD of Casa Grande.

SAGUARO at Catalina Foothills
The top nine offensive and top 10 of 11 defensive players from Catalina Foothills graduated.

Cholla at DOUGLAS
James Fitzgerald is the new coach for Douglas.

Santa Rita at FLORENCE
Florence Sr. QB Jared Wood has 4,830 career passing yards.

PUEBLO at Rincon/University
Rincon/UHS RB Ty Grigsby graduated (1,457 rushing yards). The Rangers will have a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate their new Arizona Cardinals Field.

St. Mary’s at SALPOINTE
The Ed Doherty Trophy will stay in Tucson.

San Manuel at SAN TAN FOOTHILLS
San Tan is 3-0 against San Manuel with a 36-7 average margin of victory.

PALO VERDE at Tanque Verde
Both teams need this win. Could be a battle.

RIO RICO at Catalina
The Trojans are on an 0-13 streak while Rio Rico lost last two games to fall out of the playoffs last year.
