The Arizona commit had five TD runs, including a 1-yard score with 26 seconds remaining in the game to give the Bobcats a 57-50 thrilling win at Marana. Joiner also had two touchdown passes, and he completed two two-point conversion passes in the fourth quarter.

Joiner’s TD runs went for 10 yards, 18 yards, 3 yards, 50 yards and 1 yard. His TD passes were 15 yards (to Diego Rubi) and 72 yards (Terrell Hayward).

Joiner’s performance overshadowed a brilliant display by Marana QB Trenton Bourguet, who had five TD passes.

NOTABLE:

— Ironwood Ridge RB Nick Brahler rushed for 2 TDs and gained more than 100 yards to lead his team to victory.

— Ichiro Ramod scored on end around for a TD to give CDO the lead 29-26 over Shadow Mountain in the third quarter. Eli Carey Bryant’s 25-yard run increased the lead to 36-26 in the third quarter. Carey with more than 100 yards rushing. Jose Cruz scored a TD. CDO star lineman Preston Flack not playing because of a foot injury.

— Zachary Eidenschink with an immaculate 25-yard rushing touchdown, making Matadors miss him right and left. It’s 42-26 CDO

— Bijan Robinson’s 3-yard TD run put Salpointe ahead 31-0 over Marana Mountain View in the third quarter. He earlier scored on a 57-yard TD run.

— Sabino QB Alex Bell ran 35 yards for a score to put the Sabercats ahead 7-0 in the first quarter.

— Bell hit RB Isaiah Smotherman with a 5-yard TD pass to put Sabino ahead 14-0 going into the second quarter. He then completed a 27-yard TD pass to Luke Moran to put the Sabercats ahead 21-0. Bell later converted a 36-yard TD pass to Moran.

— Sahuaro’s Kobi Bell completed a 20-yard TD pass to Trayvion White-Austin to cut the lead to 21-7 before halftime. Kobi Bell had another TD pass late in the fourth quarter, a 13-yard strike to Abrien Painter.

— Tucson struck first on a screen pass for a TD from Jesus Montano to Daniel Solamon.

— Kashawn Valencia-Crump scored on a 59-yard TD run to put the Badgers ahead 13-0.

— Desert View’s Chris Aros put the Jaguars up 7-0 in the first quarter with a 5-yard TD run. Aros later scored on a 79-yard punt return for a touchdown. He also had a 59-yard TD run.

— Jaguars RB Ayatulla Salat scored on a 59-yard TD against Palo Verde.

— The Jaguars went up 14-0 on a 1-yard run by Oscar Morineau, who had 190 all-purpose yards (stats and updates courtesy of Curtis Dutiel).

— Pusch Ridge took a 6-0 lead in the first quarter on a 1-yard run by Dakota Haynes.

— Matt Nevill completed a 61-yard TD pass to Bujon Boyd 61 yards to put American Leadership up 7-6 in the second quarter.

— Tamerat McLeod’s 30-yard interception return put Pusch Ridge up 14-7 in the third quarter.

— Cholla QB Jordan Porter, who passed for five TDs and rushed for three more at Douglas last week, scored on a 44-yard TD run vs. Amphi in the second quarter.

— Cienega took a 3-0 lead in the first quarter on a 30-yard FG by Ezra Figueroa.

— Marana’s Teon Simmons scored on a 64-yard bubble screen reception to put the Tigers up 7-3 in the second quarter. Simmons made a TD catch to end the half to put the Tigers ahead 19-17.

— Jamarye Joiner completed an 18-yard TD pass to Diego Rubi with less than 2 minutes left in the first half to put Cienega ahead 17-13. Joiner’s 19-yard TD run in the third quarter cut Marana’s lead to 26-24. Joiner’s second TD run cut the lead to 36-34.

— Figueroa’s 27-yard FG put Cienega ahead 27-26 in the third quarter.

— Marana’s Jaime Avila answered with a 24-yard field goal to put the Tigers back ahead 29-27 in the third quarter.

— Simmons’ third TD reception, a 44-yard pass from Trenton Bourget, put the Tigers up 36-27.

— Marana’s Rene Valenzuela took a bubble screen pass and went 66 yards for the TD to put the Tigers ahead 26-17 in the third quarter.

— Joiner’s 72-yard pass to Terrell Hayward and his two-point conversion pass to Trey White tied the game at 42 with 7:11 left in the fourth quarter. Joiner than scored on a 50-yard run to put the Bobcats up 49-42. Figueroa’s extra-point gave him 12 points for the game.

— Marana’s Zach Roberts scored on a 4-yard TD run with 1:22 left and his 2-point conversion run put the Tigers up 50-49.

— Joiner answered right back first completing a 19-yard pass to Terrell Hayward to the Marana 1 and then scoring on the 1-yard TD run to put the Bobcats ahead 55-50. His 2-point conversion pass to Trey Woodward gave Cienega a 57-50 lead.

— Willcox scored first against Lordsburg on a 33-yard TD pass by Christian Brown to Tanner DeBaun. DeBaun later had an 85-yard TD run.

— Willcox’s Elijah Sheppard had a 55-yard punt return and 65-yard kickoff return, both TDs, called back because of penalties.

— AJ Fuentes’ 34-yard TD reception put Willcox ahead 16-6 in the third quarter. Fuentes caught a 67-yard TD pass from Josh Rios to put Willcox up 23-6.
