Week Three Football Notes

Tucson High is going for 3-0 for the only the third time since 1992.
Buena broke a 22-game losing streak by beating Flowing Wells last Friday.
Pueblo beat Sunnyside for the first time since 1992.
Mountain View hasn’t started out a season 0-2 since 2007. 1994 and 1988 were the other two 0-2 starts.
Cienega has won 14 regular season games in a row.
Ironwood Ridge is 4-0 against Nogales.
Marana won nine games in a row after starting out 0-2 last year.
Catalina Foothills has started out 2-1 four years in a row.
Desert View is going for 2-0 for the third year in a row.
Flowing Wells hasn’t gone 0-2 since 2013.
Sahuaro is hoping to avoid going 0-2 for the second year in a row.
Canyon del Oro is 10-0 in regular season games played before a game with Ironwood Ridge.
Pusch Ridge started out 2-0 in 2005. The only time.
Palo Verde in danger of going 1-2 for the second year in a row.
Rio Rico in danger of going 0-3 for the first time since 2010.
Sabino is 26-1 over the last 27 regular season games against Arizona opponents.
Catalina is 2-0 for the first time since 2009. 2005 was last 3-0 start.
Empire hasn’t gone 2-0 since 2012.
Willcox hasn’t gone 2-1 since 2013.
Sahuarita has gone 0-2 two years in a row.
Santa Cruz is on a 15-2 win streak.
Bisbee is 6-4 against Pima.
Benson hasn’t had a losing season since 2010.
San Manuel went 2-1 in 2012.
Tombstone has gone 0-2 only once since 1998.
