It is the 100th episode of the Wildcast (at least on the Podcast Garden platform) and there is not really anything else to talk about than Khalil Tate and the Arizona football team.
The Wildcats have a huge game in Los Angeles this weekend and the winner controls their own destiny in the Pac-12 South. Can Tate and the Wildcats upend the favored Trojans.
Tate has been fantastic, but some praise has to be given to the coaches who have tailored the offense to Tate’s skill set, something I do not feel that they did for Brandon Dawkins. Not that Dawkins would have this kind of success, but they have put Tate in a great position to succeed and the sophomore has taken the ball and run with it…literally.
Maybe the only negative is that the offense is scoring too quickly. 80% of the Arizona offense came on eight plays and WSU ran over 100 plays? Will Arizona need to establish long scoring drives, or can they keep running away from their opponents with big plays?
