Jarrod Johnson qualifies for FCG Callaway World Championship

Ironwood Ridge standout Jarrod Johnson shot a 2-under-par 140 (69-71) to capture the championship of the 3rd Annual FCG Arizona Championship held at the Ocotillo Golf Club this past weekend in Chandler.

Johnson qualified for the FCG Callaway World Championship, slated for the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage, California next July.

Connor Wierman (Ironwood Ridge) came in fourth place (74-77 151), Alex Gray (Sabino) took seventh (76-77 153) and Adam Mamula (Catalina Foothills) took 11th (84-86 170).

Tony Li of Vancouver, British Columbia and Tiger Tahvildari of Santa Ana, California tie for second place with a 5-over 147.
