Brianna Aguilar-Beaucage (GCU)
Brianna Aguilar-Beaucage (Salpointe) was named WAC Pitcher of the Week for her efforts with Grand Canyon.
Aguilar-Beaucage went 3-1 last week with a pair of wins over Niagara, a victory against Houston Baptist and a loss to UCLA. She held a 2.67 ERA over 21.0 innings in four games, while allowing two runs and two walks over 54 batters faced during her three appearances in the GCU Purple Classic. Aguilar-Beaucage struck out 12 batters last week and walked just four.
Tylor Gil (PC)
Former Santa Cruz standout Tylor Gil (Phoenix College) was named D-II Player of the Week by the ACCAC.
Gil hit a walk off home run against Central in the first game then in the second she hit the game winning home run scoring all four runs and leading Phoenix to a sweep of No. 4 ranked Central.
Brianna Griffiths (Yavapai)
Former Tanque Verde standout Brianna Griffiths was named ACCAC DI Player of the Week for Yavapai for the week ending Feb. 19.
Griffiths helped the Roughriders to a 4-0 record last week, while going 6-of-13 at the plate. She hit three home runs, was walked three times, drove in eight runs and scored six times.
