Thornydale led 6-3 after three innings and 11-7 after four but errors started to mount and Thornydale pulled away for the 18-7 win and a shot at Oro Valley. Thornydale will have to beat Oro Valley twice under the double elimination format.

Brody Young picked up the win for Thornydale and Angel Figueroa finished the game. Ethan McQuade, Zach Schaefer, Johnny Abramian, Jake Kellman and Chase Cesarek took the mound for Canyon View.
