Safford’s 42-0 win over Tanque Verde Thursday night kicks off Week Nine

WEEK NINE PREVIEW

No. 10 Safford’s 42-0 win over No. 29 Tanque Verde last night puts No. 7 Sabino and No. 11 Pusch Ridge on notice in the 3A Conference. Pusch Ridge travels to Sabino tonight and the winner will keep pace with Safford. The Bulldogs sit alone at the top of the 3A South Region with a 3-0 record.

The Lions and Sabercats are both sitting at 2-0 in the region but Sabino is also trying to stay in the top eight for playoff hosting purposes. Safford, Sabino and Pusch Ridge will all play each other down the stretch.
