Alex Parkhurst & Miranda Erro qualify for AAU Beach Junior Nationals

AAU Sand Volleyball Qualifier, Dec. 15: Canyon del Oro

Trinity Cavanaugh (Xavier) and Lexi Sweeney (Arcadia) beat Alex Parkhurst (Salpointe) and Miranda Erro (Walker Beach) 21-18 to capture the Gold Match of the first-ever AAU Junior Olympic Beach Volleyball qualifier held in Tucson on Saturday. Both pairs earned a bid to nationals.

The qualifier was held at Canyon del Oro and it was hosted by Desert Sand Volleyball. DSV is slated to host a New Years Tournament at Canyon del Oro on Jan. 3, 2019.

The AAU Beach Volleyball Junior Nationals will be played at Hermosa Beach from July 9-13, 2019.
