In boys volleyball, No. 3 Mountain View took out No. 10 American Leadership Academy 3-1 in the 5A semifinal round to advance to the state title match set for Saturday night at Highland High School. The Mountain Lions will face off against No. 4 Campo Verde at 5:15 p.m.

In baseball, No. 1 Nogales will take on No. 2 Horizon Monday night at Diablo Stadium for the 5A state championship. The Apaches are working on their third title in a row and this is The first trip to the final night for the Huskies since they won it all in 2010.
