Buena QB Jovoni Borbon completed 3 of 4 passes for 113 yards and two TDs in a 42-7 win over Empire Friday night. He also rushed for 105 yards on six carries with two TDs.

The victory moved Buena to 2-1 on the year and the Colts will be traveling to play Desert View (2-1) this Friday in an important 5A Conference match for both squads.

APS Digital Print and the Tucson Conquistadores have agreed to recognize the Football Player of the Week and the awards will culminate with the official Frog and Firkin Southern Arizona All-Star lists in December.

Borbon will be receiving his APS Digital Player of the Week banner at practice this week.
