“T” Statman: Life After Arizona Softball

The last time Arizona fans saw “T” Statman was in the Women’s College World Series as critical part of the team that ended Arizona’s nine year drought. Arizona would see their season end losing to Alabama in an elimination game. In Statman’s senior season she posted a batting average of .323 with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs as a spark off the bench for the Wildcats.

Since her career at Arizona ended Statman has remained in the world of softball. This time as a member of the Israeli Softball team this past summer, trying to qualify for the 2020 summer Olympic games. Statman wasn’t the only Wildcat on team Israel, she was joined my Arizona sophomore Vanessa Foreman.

It wasn’t just softball for “T” Statman this summer as she landed a job with local sports talk show “Wildcats Radio”, hosted by Kevin Woodman and co-hosted by Mike Luke.

It has been a busy summer for Statman from softball to a new job back in Tucson. So, here is the full interview with former Arizona wildcats “T” Statman.
