Friday night went like most Friday’s for the Salpointe football team with a blowout win. However, there were many storylines throughout the night with Bijan Robinson breaking the state rushing record, to the Bourguet brother being eligible the first time all season. It was a wild night in the football field.
With Salpointe quarterback Jackson Bolin lighting up the scoreboard this season, Treyson Bourguet would make his season debut late in the fourth quarter to get back in the rhythm of playing on Friday night’s. This is his first game action dating back to last season at his former school Marana high school. He wasn’t the only Bourguet on the field, as Coben Bourguet made his season debut as well.
