Six Southern Arizona programs are appealing initial AIA conference placements

Ironwood Ridge, Rincon/University, Tucson High, San Miguel, Catalina and Flowing Wells are all appealing the initial AIA conference placements released on Oct. 9.

INITIAL PLACEMENTS

Of the six, Ironwood Ridge was the only program to appeal up from 4A to 5A which appears to have approval at this stage of he process. The other five programs will have the appeals heard from Oct. 21-23. Region placements will also be set during this time period.

The updated conference and region placements will be released on Oct. 25. The next appeal phase will end on Nov. 1 and the final decisions will be released on Nov. 19.

The initial football placements will be made on Dec. 12.
