Pima Soccer Signs Five Local High School Standouts

The Pima Community College women’s soccer program added five local high school players to its 2020 signing class on Saturday.

  • Riley Bonner (Defenser/Midfielder) from Cienega
  • Emily Valenzuela (Defenser) from Salpointe Catholic
  • Angelina Amparano (Goalkeeper) from Salpointe Catholic
  • Nayeli Vidal (Midfielder) from Sahuaro
  • Mariyah Leonard (Defender) from Tucson

The Aztecs finished the 2019 season with a 9-7-1 overall record and made the NJCAA Region I, Division I playoffs. They begin the 2020 season in August.
