Former Cienega softball standout Shae Bushey was named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Softball All-Academic Team along with former Sahuaro standout Laura Wedman, former Ironwood Ridge standouts Kelly Decker and Julia Roberts and former Sabino standout Carly Gray.
Bushey is a junior majoring in Business Management with a 3.517 GPA. Wedman had a 3.558 GPA in Exercise Science, Decker a 3.83 GPA as a Public Health major, Roberts a GPA of 3.68 as a Sport Administration major and Gray had a 3.83 in Health and Exercise Science.
The RMAC Baseball All-Academic Team featured former Ironwood Ridge standouts Derek Daly and Jake Engel.
Daly had a GPA of 3.62 in Chemical & Biochemical Engineering and Engel had a 3.55 GPA in Exercise Science.
