First repoted by Justin’s World of Softball, former Arizona Wildcat Jenna Kean is transferring to Louisiana-Lafayette.
With the NCAA granting an extra year of eligibility, this gives Kean two years in a Louisiana-Lafayette uniform, joining her former ex-Wildcat teammate Vanessa Foreman who transferred to the program as well.
Arizona loses a player in Kean who batted .297 for her career with an on-base percentage of .357. Plus, she had 20 RBIs during her time in Tucson.
As for Kean’s new team, last season Louisiana-Lafayette finished 18-6 and was ranked No. 1 on the first-ever RPI rankings.
