Arizona Wildcats football and head coach Kevin Sumlin stayed hot on the recruiting trail with adding the 20th commitment Saturday afternoon to the 2021 recruiting class.
The commitment comes from 6-foot-5 and 295 pounds JUCO offensive tackle Cade Parrish from Snow College located in Ephraim (Utah).
Arizona offensive line coach Kyle DeVan was the lead recruiter when it came to getting Parrish to Arizona.
“Each one of my goals I have, Coach DeVan has already accomplished. He has played in the Pac-12 (at Oregon State) and he’s played in the highest level professional league in the world. He can make me the best player I could possibly be,” said Parrish.
Parrish chose Arizona over Hawaii, San Jose State, and Liberty among others after receiving his offer from Sumlin on July 2.
“I chose Arizona because of its proximity to my home, the Pac-12 conference, and because I truthfully feel they have the best resources and coaching staff available to craft me into the player I want to become,” said Parrish.
When asked about Tucson and his visit last week, Parrish had this to say:
“I loved the feel of the city and the lay out of the campus. The facilities were top notch and looking back, I realize that I made my decision a lot sooner than I thought.”
With the commitment, Sumlin now has three offensive line commits for the 2021 recruiting class including JT Hand, Luke Eckardt. Two of the linemen are from JUCO programs — Eckardt and Parrish.
